Water (Inside City Limits):
- $10.17 for the first 1,500 gallons consumed (Minimum Monthly Fee)
- $2.40 for the next 500 gallons.
- $4.79 for every 1,000 gallons of water consumed thereafter
Water (Outside City Limits):
- $12.81 for the first 1,500 gallons consumed (Minimum Monthly Fee)
- $3.35 for the next 500 gallons
- $6.70 for every 1,000 gallons consumed thereafter
Sewer:
- $12.75 for the first 2,000 gallons consumed (Minimum Monthly Fee)
- $5.18 for every 1,000 gallons consumed thereafter
Sanitation:
- $28.45 (Minimum Monthly Fee) -Residential weekly pickup
When will my rates change on my bill?
A new rate schedule for water, sewer and sanitation has been approved by your City Council and is effective as of January 1, 2024. The City of Casper bills for services rendered. Your bill in February will reflect the new rate change applied to your January usage.
The City of Casper recalculates sewer averaging for all residences each year. This calculation averages your water usage in the months of January, February, and March, which reflects most of the water running through the sewer pipes, rather than lawn and garden watering in a summer month. This average resets the new sewer rate. The new sewer charge is reflected on your April bill. NOTE: Per City ordinance 13.03.080 - New accounts have their initial sewer charge set at 7,000 gallons (average usage in Casper). If a customer has established usage at a previous address, that usage will be used until the next annual re-evaluation.
