Business Licenses

Business licenses are currently required within the City of Casper for the following types of businesses:

Junk Dealers	$50 fee	Jan. 1 to Dec. 31
Pawnshops	$100 ($1,000 bond also required)	Jan. 1 to Dec. 31
Itinerant Merchants	$25 fee	Ten days per calendar year (90 day extension available for fruit & Christmas tree vendors)
Unsolicited Salesmen	$25 fee	Jan. 1 to Dec. 31
Secondhand Dealers	$25 fee	Jan. 1 to Dec. 31
Hotels and Rooming houses	$10 for first 20 rooms and 25-cents for each room over 20.	Jan. 1 to Dec. 31
Vehicles for Hire -Buses	$65 fee ($1,000 surety bond and liability insurance also required)	July 1 to June 30
Vehicles for Hire -Taxicab Company	$65 (liability insurance also required)	Jan. 1 to Dec. 31
Vehicles for Hire- Taxicab Driver	$25 fee	One year from date of issuance

Beginning April 16, 2021, the Clerk's Office will begin utilizing the City's secure Citizen Self Service webpage to receive, process and issue business licenses. To apply for a Business License, please register your business and fill out an application on the City of Casper's Self Service webpage.
